Teen Treks is a summer bicycle touring program for youth ages 12-18.  Our trips are 1-4 weeks long and we travel in small groups of 12 teens with 2 trip leaders.

Our trips cycle throughout popular touring locations in Europe, the US, and Canada, camping outdoors and staying in HI-AYH-hostels along the way.

We expect our leaders to treat each youth with respect and professionalism.  Offering the teens guidance when necessary, yet encouraging healthy independence and growth.

All Trip Leader's expenses are paid and we offer a stipend of $100 per week plus a bonus of up to $100 per week.

Leaders should:

• Be 21 or older
  
• Enjoy working with youth
  
• Like the outdoors
  
• Like to travel
  
• Like biking
  
• Be a non-smoker
  
• Be looking for a good time
  

You don't need:

• To be an athlete
  
• To have prior bike repair knowledge
  
• To be an extensive traveler
  
• To be fluent in languages other than English
  

To be a Trip Leader we require:

• Completed application & Resume
  
• Personal Interview
  
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
  
• Completion of a Weekend Training Program
